Megan Moloney

Meg Moloney is an Associate Director with the Defense and Security segment of the global consulting firm Guidehouse. Meg has lived numerous professional lives during the span of her 20+ year career. She began as a business integrity attorney in New York – piloting innovative public-private partnerships in False Claims Act cases and federal monitorships. Pro bono work and her involvement as the Chair of the New York City Bar Association’s African Affairs Committee ultimately led her to the United Nations, where she served as an Investigator with the Office of Internal Oversight Services investigating serious crimes involving peacekeepers and diplomats in West Africa. In 2011, she returned to the United States to take a position with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). With the FBI, Meg wore a number of hats. After serving as an analyst with the Directorate of Intelligence, she transitioned to an attorney role with the Office of Integrity and Compliance. There she became the first compliance attorney chosen to support the Intelligence Branch. She was also selected to lead agency-wide mitigation teams on several of the Director’s top ten risks. In 2015, she returned to Colorado and subsequently assumed her final FBI role as a Senior Strategy, Risk, and Compliance Manager for the FBI’s Information Technology Branch. Now Meg is an Associate Director with the Defense and Security segment of the global consulting firm Guidehouse. The unique combination of her experiences not only lends itself to general advisory and mission transformation consulting, but also allows her to serve as a subject matter expert for risk, resiliency, and governance matters.

Outside of client delivery, Meg is active within the national security community. She speaks and publishes regularly on a wide range of topics, to include space supply chain risk management, artificial intelligence (AI), and leadership. She also serves in an advisory capacity to the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC), Iron Butterfly Media, and CyberSat.

Meg secured her law degree from the George Washington School of Law and undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and is licensed to practice in both New York and Colorado. She is an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and former Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.
