Aerospace El Segundo Campus (AGO) – Clearance Passing Instructions

IMPORTANT (Deadline Extended): The Aerospace Corporation MUST receive your clearance certification NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2022, for you to be able to attend the CyberSat Summit Classified Day on May 11, 2022.

PASSING VISIT CERTIFICATIONS

All clearances should be passed by a recognized security person and by whichever format your security office prefers. Aerospace honors badge reciprocity for IC Government Blue Badge holders only. All other cleared visitors will need to send a visit request using the below information. Please allow 5 days for processing. Clearances can be passed by the following methods:

  • For A8 Conference access (SCI), visitor security POCs can submit VARs in DISS to SMO code 12782.
  • If SI/TK tickets do not show in DISS or the customer does not use DISS, please have security reps submit visit requests in one of the following ways:

  3. NMIS: aero-security-west@nro.ic.gov 
  4. Unclassified Fax: (310) 563-1110

CHECK-IN PROCESS & COVID SAFETY PROCEDURES

IMPORTANT: The Aerospace Corporation requires that all Classified Day attendees are fully vaccinated. Please remember to bring proof of vaccination with you to Classified Day on May 11, 2022.

The CyberSat Summit Classified Day program will be held in building A8 located at 210 S. Douglas Street, El Segundo, CA 90245.

  • When arriving, you will need to check in with the security guard at the parking entrance. Please let the guard know that you are checking in for Classified Day.
  • Upon entering the building, you will need to check in with Aerospace security and complete/show the following:
    • Government Issued Photo ID: MUST BE CURRENT (no expired licenses, passports, etc. will be permitted)
      • Permanent resident aliens must provide a green card.
      • Foreign nationals must be pre-approved, they cannot check-in onsite without being pre-approved. And will need to be escorted for the duration of the event.
    • At security check-in, you will also be required to complete a short COVID questionnaire.
  • After clearing building security, you will receive your badge and be directed to the auditorium.

SECURITY: NO CELLPHONES ALLOWED. It is recommended that you leave your cell phones, smartwatches, etc. at your residence/hotel or store them in your vehicle. Note: There is a limited amount of storage available inside the Aerospace Corporation.
